In the past, I used Hanmail provided by Daum a lot, but it seems that I naturally moved to Naver at some point. Of course, there are people who use Gmail in the company or Gmail, but I think Naver is probably the most used by many people for personal use. There is a receipt confirmation function, and it is all good, but sometimes it is returned because there is no available place to receive it. Then, if you do not receive important data, a difficult situation may arise. For those who lack the default capacity or want to receive large-capacity attachments, we will tell you how to increase the capacity of Naver Mail that anyone can do without payment.
Naver Mail capacity increase (ver. PC) 네이버 메일 대용량 첨부파일
About 5GB per account is provided by default, so if you are not exchanging huge amounts of data, it can cover most documents. However, when exchanging large amounts of data such as videos and photos, shortages inevitably occur. To solve this, first log in with the ID you want to increase, then enter your mailbox. 윤과장의 소소한 일상 이야기
Then you will see this familiar screen. From here, click <000MB (GB) / 5GB> in the lower left corner. The number in the front indicates the amount of space currently being occupied, and the number written at the back indicates the total size being served. So if you’re wondering how much I have left, you can check it out here, albeit in small print 🙂
If you click the relevant area, you will be taken to the <Manage Mailbox> page, where you can change to backup, empty, or mark all as read for each folder. You must go in.
Then, it will switch to the My Box screen like this. I’m currently using the Plus membership and I selected Digital Contents + as a membership benefit, so the total size seems to be 180GB, but if you’re not using it separately like me, it will be displayed as the default 30GB. The part marked with a dotted line is the remaining space. If you have checked it, click <Send capacity by Naver mail> shown on the right.
For reference, you can check and change the type of MYBOX ticket you are using at the bottom, and if you have a coupon, you can add it by clicking the Register button in the box.
Clicking Send will open a small pop-up window. Move the bar on the screen to adjust as much as you want, and then click Set to add as much. It is possible from a minimum of 1GB to a maximum of 25GB, but it is limited to the remaining empty space in my MYBOX, so please note that if there is only 10GB of free space, you can only increase it to a maximum of 10GB.
Send is completed as soon as you click, and you can move and see the application immediately. In general, each file cannot exceed 2GB, and large-capacity files can be sent up to 10 times a day, so you can refer to this and adjust it 🙂
Is it possible to get it back?
Of course you can. After entering in the same order, move the increased bar back to 0GB and press Settings or click <Reset Settings> at the bottom to display a pop-up window saying ‘Do you want to recover?’ will go back
Conditions you need to know
Naver can create up to 3 accounts per person, but My Box can only be used in conjunction with one of the 3, so in order to do this, MYBOX must be linked to the ID. So, if you are linked with an unused ID, please try after moving it through migration 🙂
Useful management tips to know
It will be applied to all at the end of April, but if you want to do it in advance, please refer to it.
1. If you sign up for a shopping mall or other site and agree to receive points, coupons, news, etc., or are active on social media, cafes, etc., you will accumulate a lot of related messages. However, there are times when you can’t quickly check what’s really important. In that case, you can use the smart mailbox. It is divided into Promotion, Billing Payment, SNS, and Cafe, so if you change the desired item to <Use>, the corresponding menu will be created in the list on the left, making it more convenient to manage.
2. In some cases, while deleting advertisements, you may accidentally delete even important data. Usually, this is done by going to the trash and restoring it. If the Recycle Bin is empty and you can’t find anything, go to Management in the same way and check if <Delete/Keep Period Settings> at the bottom is checked. If it is not checked, it means that it is completely removed, so it cannot be restored. In addition, you can specify no automatic deletion or a minimum of 5 days to a maximum of 50 days for the storage period for trash bins or sent mail.
3. If you have already downloaded all the files and no longer need them, but have not been able to organize them because it is difficult to find them, press the <Attach> button indicated by the arrow. Then you can see at a glance what has been exchanged with files included. If you see it here once and don’t mind if you don’t have it, you can check it and click Delete. And even if you put it in the trash bin, it takes up the same amount of space in the mailbox unless it is completely emptied.
Increase Naver Mail capacity (ver. Mobile)
I need to increase it urgently, but if there is no computer around, it will be difficult, right? But fortunately, you can also adjust it in the app. Go to <Menu → Mail> in the upper left corner and press <三> in the upper right corner.
Then a window will appear on the side. When you scroll to the bottom, press the <Settings> button and set it to the same as the PC version, and you’re done! Simple, right?
If you haven’t paid attention to it until now, but when you check it out, you’re worried that reception won’t work properly because it’s not long before you use the method I’ve told you about today to manage it. I hope you can increase it and receive large attachments without worry. Thanks for reading:)
