I won’t miss you anymore! – How to set Naver mail notification
If you are busy, you will miss the notifications that your phone tells you even if you stare at them. However, if there is no notification, there is a higher chance of not replying to important contacts and e-mails without a moment of regret. We are all busy modern people.
In preparation for such a situation, you can set notification settings for Naver Mail, which we use a lot. In this post, I will tell you how to do it in a very clear and concise manner.
Naver Mail notification settings – Let’s use the app! 네이버 메일 알림
Naver mail itself can be checked with the Naver browser app, not the mail app. You need to install the Naver Mail app to open a pop-up like the notification setting we think.
Enter the Play Store based on Android, search Naver Mail, and download the app. 윤과장의 소소한 일상 이야기
If you run the installed NAVER Mail app and press the upper left corner first, you can enter the general mail status and settings screen as shown in the image on the right.
All we need to do is to pop up notifications, so we can go to the settings screen by pressing the gear icon.
Then you will see an item called notification settings. This is where you can set Naver Mail notifications. When you enter, the notification of new mail immediately catches your eye.
In other words, when a new mail comes into my Naver Mail, it is displayed as a smartphone notification. Specifically, you can limit all new mail to your inbox and/or mail from people you set as VIPs.
In addition, it is possible to set Naver Mail notification settings to not come at a specific time by setting the etiquette time mode. For example, if you want to have a meeting periodically at this time, or if you do not want to be disturbed during sleep time, you can set it to a specific time.
But what about designating a specific sender as a VIP? Just above, it was said that there is a way to display a notification when a VIP sends an email, so you need to find out how to set up Naver Mail VIP.
You don’t have to use the Naver Mail app to set this up, but you can also set it up in a regular Naver browser.
After launching the Naver browser, click the Mail item. Here, find the mail from the sender you want to set as VIP. In my case, I will assume that I felt the need to set up VIP in Naver Mail because I want to be classified as a little more special than general mail and not to miss it, as I periodically check the mail in that square box every month.
Setup is very simple. If you press the part marked VIP at the top of your smartphone, registration as a VIP is completed, and if you press it again, you will be released from the VIP status.
While you are a VIP, you can receive notifications based on Naver notification settings when receiving e-mails.
As you can see, once you set up notifications, you’ll get a notification on your screen when someone sends you a mail. If this is the case, the probability that I will not be able to check it will be significantly reduced, right?
I hope that you won’t miss important contacts with the Naver mail notification settings I’ve told you about in this post, and I’ll conclude this post with the above.
