One picture above explains it all. This is a family chat room conversation from last family fall trip. 윤과장의 소소한 일상 이야기

First, if you send multiple photos to the other party one by one, the chat room is covered with photos. It is difficult to download while checking each one. In particular, in group rooms where many people gather and have a lot of conversation, it is a hassle because previously written texts are buried.

Second, if you do not set the original or high-definition settings, the sharpness decreases. Let’s check the first method first and check the quality related content.
① Sending KakaoTalk photos together

It is not difficult to bundle and send KakaoTalk photos. Regardless of 1:1 or group room, touch the [+] icon at the bottom left and then go to [Album]. Then select the [All] icon in the lower left corner again. You will then be greeted by a screen that looks like a smartphone gallery app, as shown in the picture above.

You can select up to 30 sheets here. You can select one by one by touching, or you can easily select multiple sheets by dragging.

The key point is that you must select [Send photos together], which is marked with a red circle in the photo above.
If you don’t select this and click the [Send] button in the upper right corner, it’s a mess.

If it is sent normally, you will be able to see that several photos are tied into a single speech bubble in the KakaoTalk chat window. tiled closely together. It is clean. Touch any of them and swipe left or right. Then you can easily check the photos included in the bundle list.

And there is one more good thing besides being neat.

The point is that you can save the entire batch of photos with two touches. The thing to be careful about at this time is that if you blindly download the whole thing, you may be hit by a bomb in communication charges. As much as possible, we recommend that only users in a Wi-Fi environment or unlimited plan use the full storage function.
② How to set the original quality of KakaoTalk
Left) Low quality / Right) Original

If you look at the photo above, you can easily understand why you need to send photos in original quality when sending photos through KakaoTalk. Basically, ‘normal quality’ is applied to minimize data usage. This means that the resolution is downgraded during the transmission process. On your cell phone, no matter how much you zoom in, the clarity is maintained, but if you often hear from the other person, “Why is the picture quality like this!” or “You need to change your smartphone!”

More (three dots on the bottom tab) → Settings → Chat → Manage Media Delivery → Picture Quality
let’s move on Then change ‘General’ to ‘Original’. The same goes for the video below. Change ‘Normal’ to ‘High Quality’. easy.
Note that this method can also be set when sending photos every time. But it’s annoying. It is much more convenient to apply this once in the settings tab and use it.

Today’s tip is for my parents and friends. Now, I hope that you will go on a trip and share your happy appearance and wonderful scenery by sending a bundle of KakaoTalk photos. And a lot of people don’t know about image quality. If your friend keeps sending messages with poor quality or on the other hand, if you have heard of a pin-zan from your friends, please share my post and refer to it again!
